A police report states that the victim told police he had a dispute with two neighbors which led up to the shooting…
One of the witnesses told police that he, his brother and mother were packing boxes into a U-Haul to move.
Officers say the witness told them the Greenlees had yelled at them about the U-Haul blocking the road.
Police say this led to an argument when the witness said he heard a gunshot. That’s when officers say the witness fired back.
After that the brothers and mom ran back in the house, while police say Jonah had been shot in the leg and left the scene…

Jackson police say the owner of the vehicle found four people inside his SUV.
There was an exchange of gunfire, which resulted in the victim receiving one non-life-threatening gunshot wound, said police.
Investigators say the suspects were last seen running toward Rainey Road and McCluer Road…

THPD released a statement saying that officers responded to the 1900 block of south 3rd Street at O’Reilly Auto Parts just after 8:00 PM on Thursday night for a report of shots fired.
Upon investigation, officers learned that the suspect arrived at O’Reilly Auto Parts to dispute a recent trespass order. THPD says the suspect was told to leave and refused which led to a brief physical altercation. Police say, the suspect then returned to their vehicle, retrieving what was believed to be a handgun and pointed it at an employee.
THPD says a nearby customer who was working on his vehicle and was legally carrying a firearm, intervened to defend the employee and shot the suspect multiple times. Police say, the suspect then fled in a vehicle driven by a family member. Officers later found the vehicle and the suspect at a local hospital. The suspect was transferred to an Indianapolis-area hospital and is currently in stable condition…

Wilkes-Barre police in court records allege Graham was operating a Ford Fusion and followed the woman, operating a GMC Terrain, in the parking lot. Graham waited for the woman to exit the GMC and confronted her as she approached the entrance to the family market, court records say.
A witness told police the woman pushed and told Graham to get away from her. Surveillance footage depicts Graham threatening the woman with a firearm in the parking lot before the woman brandished a .22-caliber firearm and fired shots at Graham, striking him twice, court records say.
Graham ran away but collapsed near Hanover Street.
Police recovered a Glock 19 semi-automatic firearm and three bags of suspected crack cocaine under a parked Honda where Graham collapsed, court records say…

Two men have been arrested on multiple charges, including murder, after one man was killed and another was injured in an attempted robbery that turned into a shootout, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department…
At about 1:30 a.m. March 13, deputies responded reports of multiple people being shot in the 100 block of Westbridge Road, the sheriff’s department said. That’s in Columbia, in the area between Hard Scrabble Road and Rabon Road, near Exit 19 on Interstate 77.
When deputies arrived, they found one person who had been shot in the upper body and he died at the scene, according to the release. He was later identified as one of the suspects in the attempted robbery, the sheriff’s department said…
During an investigation, deputies said they learned that prior to the shooting, three men armed with guns attempted to rob the victim while he was in his car outside his residence. Police said two groups started fighting at about 10:30 p.m. outside a McDonald’s on East Hollis Street.
Witnesses said there were about four people fighting, and the argument became progressively louder until one person pulled out a knife. A 32-year-old man was stabbed several times, police said.
Witness Felix Marengo said he stepped in to break things up after watching everything play out in front of his car.

An Othello man was arrested after being shot during a fight with a store clerk on Bench Road Saturday afternoon.
According to the Adams County Sheriff’s Office, 22-year-old Omar Negrete-Galvan entered a store at a store on the southwest corner of the roundabout and started fighting with the store clerk.
Both Negrete-Galvan and the store clerk displayed guns. During the fight, Negrete-Galvan was shot in the leg.
The Sheriff’s Office said based on the initial investigation, there was probable cause to arrest Negrete-Galvan on suspicion of attempted assault and other charges…

Around 9:40 p.m. March 23, officers from the Hardeeville Police Department received word of an armed suspect who tried to carjack a DoorDash delivery driver before fleeing on foot in the direction of Whyte Hardee Boulevard.
That suspect, later identified as Payton, reportedly fired several shots near the Econo Lodge Inn & Suites on the way to his next alleged carjacking.
Outside the Friendship Inn & Studios, Payton pointed his firearm at the driver of a car and fired at least once, Woodward said. The driver reportedly fired several shots in return, striking the suspected carjacker at least three times…

During the investigation, officers learned that an altercation had taken place in the Jewel’s Market parking lot between Scruggs and D’marucs Lee, 29, of Franklin. Video surveillance captured the altercation, showing Lee take out a pistol and fire a shot at Scruggs. Lee left the scene following the shooting.
Just before 5 p.m. Monday, Lee turned himself in to the Franklin Police Department. During questioning, Lee told detectives he was assaulted by Scruggs as he attempted to enter the store. He stated the altercation then spilled into the parking lot where he had no choice but to defend himself by using his pistol.
Following the interview, Lee was released. At this time, he has not been arrested, nor has he been charged with any crime. The case remains under investigation by the Franklin Police Department and the District Attorney’s Office.

A concealed carry license holder shot a man who was trying to break into his car on the Far South Side overnight, according to Chicago police.
The would-be burglar initially called 911 around 1:02 a.m., claiming that two men shot him in a drive-by in the 13400 block of South Green Bay. He even described the men who shot him and their getaway car.
But another 911 call, this one from the concealed carry holder, soon followed. He told police that he saw two men breaking into his car, and he ultimately shot one of them in both legs…

The Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office says no charges will be filed after a person was shot and killed in a church parking lot in March.
It happened March 26 outside Covenant Lutheran Church on 81st and Hope in Milwaukee.
The church’s pastor believes it started when a man pointed a gun at a father who was dropping off his kids at day care.

Winston Salem, North Carolina, March 26, 2025 (ABC 45)
Police officers have continued to investigate the shooting that took place at the Akron Drive Taco Bell on March 26.
Officials soon learned that a fight broke out inside the building between two employees. During the incident a firearm was used, ending with Christopher James Caldwell being struck. He was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Deeper investigation showed that Caldwell was the aggressor in this case. He was arrested Wednesday evening on charges of: felony Possession of a Stolen Firearm and felony Carrying a Concealed Gun.
Detectives also learned that Neisean Joseph Yarborough acted in self-defense, and no charges will be pressed against him.

According to court documents, 35-year-old Laterence Caldwell is accused of shooting the victim in the leg near Boomland on Saturday, March 29.
The victim told police he felt the bullet hit his leg as a black Nissan passed his vehicle.
The victim then grabbed his gun and fired two shots through the windshield of his vehicle, according to a probable cause statement.
Through an investigation, police identified Caldwell as the suspect in the shooting and took him into custody on Sunday, March 30.
Caldwell faces multiple charges, including assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon…

Officials with the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office say the shooting happened early Saturday morning, Mar. 29., around 1 a.m. in the 8800 block of Mable Drive.
Deputies responded to the scene where they learned the victim had confronted two males who were allegedly attempting to commit vehicle burglaries. According to officials, the victim and two others later followed the two males to the end of Marionette Drive where one of the alleged burglars opened fire.
The victims group returned fire and the two males fled, deputies say. Their identities are currently unknown…

Kissimmee, Florida, March 30, 2025 (FOX 35 Orlando)
According to Osceola County Sheriff Marcos Lopez, the confrontation began at a nearby stoplight, where 23-year-old Jesus Perez became agitated when another driver didn’t move as the light turned green. Investigators say Perez followed the other vehicle into the Publix lot, boxed it in, and fired a gunshot at the driver. The victim, who was also armed, reversed suddenly and returned fire.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the exchange, though one vehicle and a business were struck by stray bullets. Perez fled the scene but was located and arrested a week later in Polk County. He now faces multiple charges, including attempted murder…

San Antonio, Texas, March 31, 2025 (SBG San Antonio)
Police said that the shooting happened around 12:45 a.m. at the patio of the Aura Bar and Lounge near the corner of Ironside drive and Wurzbach Road.
Investigators said that two groups of people were arguing on the patio, which then boiled over into a fight.
Vela, who was in the parking lot, allegedly saw the fight, pulled out a handgun, and opened fire on the brawl.
A bystander pulled out his own gun and fired back, fatally striking Vela. That bystander was also wounded by Vela’s gunfire, and was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
In total, the bystander, two women, and one man at the scene were all injured by the gunfire.
